Trump’s DHS Delivers Border Justice by Axing Biden’s Reckless CBP One Program

MCALLEN, Texas — President Donald Trump’s Department of Homeland Security took a bold and necessary step Monday, revoking the legal status of migrants who slipped into the U.S. under Biden’s dangerously lax CBP One app scheme. These so-called “legal” entrants—over 900,000 since January 2023—were told to pack up and leave “immediately,” a decisive move to restore order and honor Trump’s ironclad promise to secure America’s borders.

The CBP One app, a cornerstone of Biden’s soft-on-immigration disaster, handed out two-year stays and work permits like candy, exploiting a parole authority stretched beyond reason. DHS rightfully called it out, declaring the cancellations a victory for national security and a direct response to the American people’s demand for control. “Canceling these paroles is a promise kept,” the department stated, and they’re spot on—why should illegals get a free pass while hardworking Americans foot the bill?

Termination notices are hitting the mark, with one Honduran family—here since late last year—ordered to “abandon the United States” via the renamed CBP Home app. Good riddance. Social media’s buzzing with the same message, and it’s about time. These migrants, hailing from places like Honduras, El Salvador, and Mexico, gamed a system Biden rigged to flood the country—936,500 by December alone. Trump shut down new CBP One entries on day one, stranding thousands in Mexico where they belong, and now he’s cleaning up the mess left behind.

Biden’s parole abuse—more than any president since 1952—fueled a border crisis that threatened America’s sovereignty. DHS isn’t stopping with CBP One either; last month, they wisely revoked parole for 532,000 from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela, set to end April 24. Trump’s also dismantling Temporary Protected Status for 600,000 Venezuelans and 500,000 Haitians—though a misguided judge paused it for now. This isn’t cruelty; it’s accountability. These people aren’t refugees—they’re opportunists exploiting loopholes. Trump’s DHS is slamming the door shut, proving America’s borders mean something again.
